Ask about the complete item
When you see a wax-based product, look beyond its colour. Ask what the item is made from, whether it is a blend and what other components are included. The container, finish, fragrance or packaging may matter to your choice just as much as the main material. An attractive photograph cannot establish composition.
Separate the material from the claim
A maker can explain why a material suits a particular design without promising a health or environmental outcome. Treat broad words such as “clean” or “natural” as a reason to ask for specifics. A useful description should tell you what the business means in that product’s context. If a claim depends on a certification, look for the actual certification rather than assuming it from the styling.
Our collection brief
BeeGoods is exploring wax-based objects and candles. Before an item is offered, we want the material description, size, maker and relevant care information to be clear. The craft footage and concept artwork on this site illustrate a direction; they do not verify the ingredients of a future product. Makers who can provide precise, plain-language product information are welcome to introduce their work.
